If anyone has successfully configured Tomato shibby to use Cloudflare's 1.1.1. Dnscrypt is a protocol that is used to improve DNS security by authenticating communications between a DNS client and a DNS resolver. If anyone has successfully configured Tomato shibby to use Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS service in conjunction with dnscrypt-proxy, please help me out! Thanks! ![]() The "Resolver Details" link provided in the Tomato GUI simply links to a 404 not found page on Github, and I've had no luck on Cloudflare's forums either. ![]() I'm currently running Tomato shibby v140 (K26ARM, AIO version) on my ASUS RT-AC68U and would like to change my DNS configuration on the router to utilize Cloudflare's new(er) 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1 resolvers, but I have been unable to locate the "Resolver Address" (e.g., sdns://xxxxx) and/or the "Provider Public Key." Currently I'm using the OpenDNS servers, with "cisco" selected as the dnscrypt-proxy resolver, which works well however, from what I've read Cloudflare's servers are not only faster than OpenDNS, but they do not keep logs either, which is something I'd like to take advantage of.Īs this particular Tomato distro does not include "cloudflare" as an option for dnscrypt-proxy, I need to manually enter these values, and though I've had limited success finding the sdns:// link for Cloudflare (although some I've found are cut off, being too long for the manual entry box), I have not found the "Provider Public Key," and likewise those that I have found are too long to fit into the manual entry box. ![]()
